Andale Cantina’s team is expanding with a fourth location downtown at 500 Seneca. The new site, called Andale Tequila Bar, will have a slightly different menu inspired by Mexi-Cal cuisine. The owners, Francisco Audelo, Roberto Audelo, Edgar Guzman, and Fernando Guzman, plan to combine the best of their three existing locations and introduce unique items to the menu. The team chose the downtown location due to its proximity to KeyBank Arena and the built-in audience in the Hydraulics District building. If all goes well, Andale Tequila Bar could open in February. Additionally, the team is finalizing a lease contract for a fifth location in East Aurora.
In other restaurant news downtown, 42 North brewery is getting ready to open its new location in the Theatre District. The craft brewery will occupy the ground floor of the Wurlitzer Flats building and expects to be open by late January. Nietzsche’s Cooperative is also going through an ownership transition but plans to continue its tradition as a tavern and live music venue with minimal changes.
